Global Banking Crisis Becomes Gordon Browns Very Own Political Bail Out Plan

Posted on 13 October 2008

Yes, mass hysteria extended its vice like grip across global equity and commodity markets this past week, leaving no country immune from its consequences.

Most European and Asia pacific indexes collapsed 20% or more and the Dow finished the week down 18.1%. Some countries like Brazil closed their stock market, others just stared in disbelief at the sea of red ink streaming across the screen on channels like Bloomberg indicating negative trading data..

Posted on 09 October 2008

Over 400 points drop in the last twenty minutes of trading…..

This despite yesterdays coordinated global interest rate cuts…..

With an almost record low fed interest rate of 1.5%, it has never been cheaper to borrow money. Here’s the problem – no one’s lending!!

After market trading continues the downward trend, the DOW dropping below 8600, a fall of over 671 points!!!!

When will the nightmare end??!!

The mathematical dilemma Obama must answer….

Posted on 08 October 2008

Think about it. Five days after 9/11, America is still in deep shock, still no way near come to terms with the awful nakedness of evil unleashed on their shores.

Families huddle together, widows and orphans weep silently and one reverends’ voice speaks out loud with a sense of purpose and a message that would come home to roost on Obama’s election campaign seven years later…..

The dark clouds hanging over Obamas choice of confidant, reverand and church where he was a member for 20 years leave Obama with the following mathmatical dilemma…….. (more…)

Presidential debacle!!

Posted on 08 October 2008

I really did fall asleep during the presidential debate which was supposed to have a town hall atmosphere where the tension would crackle and finally both candidates would cut the double talk and hold a no holds barred debate answering the questions that were put to them.

Instead most of the questions posed to them were given glib responses and the majority of the time alloted to each candidate was spent throwing accusations at each others voting record…… (more…)

Global markets tumble across the world, VIX Index passes 50 for the first time ever!!

Posted on 06 October 2008

The Vix index – a measure of volitility on the markets – read fear and panic, passes the 50 point mark – the largest number since the index was introduced 18 years ago.

St Jude’s Hospital

Posted on 05 January 2010

There is nothing more painful for a parent than to see their child suffer. The agony of feeling utterly helpless when he cries in pain is beyond description. Luckily for me, their website Wish.org provides an extensive biography of the charity and the work it performs. [...]

The Blind Project

Posted on 19 December 2009

This is a story about the best and worst that humanity has to offer. From the depths of cruelty, despair and hopelessness to the freedom of life, liberty and economic self sufficiency. Imagine a world where girls as young as five working a brothel house, having sex with up to thirty paedophiles a night; paedophiles who [...]

Newsweek Needs To Grow Up.

Posted on 17 November 2009

I am no fan of Sarah Palin. I don’t believe that she has any right to be a torchbearer for anything political since giving up the governership of Alaska. Her naked ambitions to run for President are all too apparent, no matter how poorly she attempts to disguise it. Her well timed book publication and its [...]
