National top 50 LTC insurance producer to advise Care.Tv

Posted on 10 April 2008

Care.Tv feels really privileged to announce that one of the country’s top 50 Long Term Care Producers, Barbara Hanson CSA, has agreed to become affiliated with Care.TV. The exact nature of this affiliation has still to be worked out due to Barbara’s intense work schedule (she has over 1000 LTC clients currently under her stewardship)

We are hoping that she will say yes to joining the Care.TV Board of Directors, which is the process of being set up as a not for profit organisation. But in the meantime, she has given Care.Tv free access to articles she co-wrote on LTC that define the industry and hopefully will be integrated into the Care.Tv library which is coming in the near future.

In addition, Barbara will use her 13 years as a n LTC agent to open doors to Care.Tv allowing us to secure interviews with major players across the board, be they insurance related, medicare/medicaid related or just personal stories, (both heart rending and inspirational) that her clients want to tell .

Perhaps the secret to Babara’s success as an LTC agent stems from her occupation as activity director in private nursing homes and a county mental hospital for seven years prior. What she saw in those seven years is what motivates her every day today – to help people understand and evaluate an insurance involving long term disabling conditions that no one likes to think about, yet is a vital component in protecting the family assets.

Like an unfamiliar forest, families need an experianced guide to help them find the best long term care financial solution for their particular situation. LTC insurance is one such solution.

to help people get to grips with an insurance that is least made use of, rather difficult to grasp the complexities of, and yet a vital component in protecting the family assets.

In just our first telephone conversation, Barbara came up with a truly outstanding idea as to how Care.Tv could make a very big difference in peoples’ lives who rely on different pieces of medical equipment to get by.

Care.Tv once again wants to thank Barbara for her input and help to date.
